Case study: Clearing and grading Vermin Cell Fences

In July 2020, Thurkle's Earthmoving won a tender with the Murchison Regional Vermin Council on behalf of the Shire of Mount Magnet for clearing and grading two sections of land, measuring 12 metres in width and approximately 64 and 115 kilometres in length, to enable the construction of a vermin cell fence. The cleared and graded strip was essential for access for fence construction works and future maintenance activities.

Our team used expert care to minimise soil disturbance due to the fragile nature of the ground. We cleared the area thoroughly, with no holes or stumps, and evenly dispersed the debris over the adjoining ground to preserve the natural landscape. Where required, we moved all trees and cleared vegetation to the downstream side of the cleared area.

Our team completed this detailed and specialised job within the allocated timeframe and delivered highly satisfactory results to the client.
